Haeundae Blueline Park reuses about 4.8 km of the former Donghae Nambu railway line between Mipo, Cheongsapo and Songjeong. Two attractions run along it: the Beach Train, a small train that follows the shoreline, and the Sky Capsule, an elevated car that glides above the track between Mipo and Cheongsapo. Both are among the most-mentioned Busan sights in recent local travel blogs, together with the Dalmaji-gil walking road above them.

Suggested half-day route
- Start at Mipo (the Haeundae end). Reach it by bus or taxi from Haeundae Station or the beach; Mipo is also the starting point for both rides.
- Ride the Sky Capsule or the Beach Train to Cheongsapo. The Capsule is a slow, private ride with sea views; the train gives you a slower, shoreline view.
- Walk around Cheongsapo, a small fishing village with seafood restaurants and cafes, then walk or ride on toward Songjeong.
- Return along Dalmaji-gil, the hillside road above the railway that is famous for cherry blossoms in early April and for quiet sea views at other times.

What to know before you go
- Both rides are timed or ticketed and often sell out on weekends and during cherry blossom season. Reserve through the operator's official site or app if you can, and arrive early.
- Fares, hours and closure days change; check the official Blueline Park page for the current schedule.
- Some visitors find the Sky Capsule short for the price. It is best treated as a scenic ride and a photo opportunity, not a transport option.
- Wear flat shoes. Dalmaji-gil and the Cheongsapo area involve slopes and some stairs.
- The Visit Busan Pass can cover the Beach Train; confirm current coverage before buying.
Where to eat nearby
Cheongsapo and Songjeong are known for fresh seafood and grilled clams. Haeundae Traditional Market, a short ride away, offers street food and quick meals if you prefer a cheaper lunch.
Pairing ideas
Combine this coast walk in the morning with Haeundae Beach and Dongbaek Island in the afternoon, then see the Gwangan Bridge lights from Gwangalli at night.
