顺天湾湿地

Suncheonman Bay Wetland Reserve encompasses 5.4 square kilometers of dense reed beds and 22.6 square kilometers of tidal mudflats. Registered under the international Ramsar Convention, it is one of the world's most pristine coastal wetland biospheres.

순천만습지는 5.4㎢의 빽빽한 갈대밭과 22.6㎢의 광활한 갯벌로 이루어진 연안습지입니다. 세계 5대 연안습지 중 하나로 2006년 람사르 협약에 등록되었으며 생태계의 보고로 보호받고 있습니다.

Highlights: Endless rustling reed fields connected by raised wooden boardwalks, the primary wintering sanctuary for endangered hooded cranes (Natural Monument No. 228), and scenic boat cruises.

바람에 사각거리는 은빛 갈대밭 사이로 끝없이 이어진 목재 데크길, 멸종위기 야생생물이자 천연기념물 제228호인 흑두루미 수천 마리의 월동지, 갯벌 생태를 탐사하는 생태체험선이 백미입니다.

Autumn (October-November) transforms the bay into a sea of shimmering golden reeds. Winter (December-February) welcomes thousands of migratory waterfowl, while spring paints the mudflat shores in green.

10월과 11월 가을철에는 황금빛으로 물든 갈대 물결이 절정을 이루며 순천만갈대축제가 개최됩니다. 12월부터 2월 겨울에는 흑두루미, 저어새 등 희귀 철새들이 날아들어 장관을 연출합니다.

Open daily from 08:00 to sunset (March-October: 08:00 - 19:00; November-February: 08:00 - 17:00). Admission closes one hour before sunset to protect wild bird habitats.

개장 시간은 계절별 일몰 시간에 맞추어 운영됩니다. 봄·가을은 08:00~18:00, 여름철은 08:00~19:00, 겨울철은 08:00~17:00까지이며 생태계 보호를 위해 일몰 1시간 전 매표가 마감됩니다.

Integrated admission ticket covers both Suncheonman Bay Wetland and Suncheon Bay National Garden: Adults 10,000 KRW, Youth 7,000 KRW, Children 5,000 KRW. SkyCube monorail round-trip costs 8,000 KRW.

순천만습지와 순천만국가정원을 당일 함께 관람할 수 있는 통합 입장권은 성인 10,000원, 청소년 7,000원, 어린이 5,000원입니다. 정원과 습지를 연결하는 스카이큐브 모노레일 왕복 요금은 8,000원입니다.

From KTX Suncheon Station, take City Bus 66 directly to Suncheonman Wetland terminus (approx. 25 minutes). Alternatively, take the automated SkyCube monorail from the National Garden.

KTX 순천역 광장 버스정류장에서 시내버스 66번을 타면 순천만습지 종점까지 약 25분 만에 직통합니다. 순천만국가정원에서 출발할 경우 무인궤도차 스카이큐브를 타고 갈대습지 앞까지 이동할 수 있습니다.

The entire 1.2-kilometer reed field boardwalk is wide, flat, and step-free, perfectly accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. Free manual wheelchairs are available at the Eco Museum.

갈대밭을 관통하는 1.2km의 목재 데크로드는 전 구간 턱이 없는 무장애 탐방로로 설계되어 휠체어와 유모차 통행이 매우 수월합니다. 생태관 입구에서 휠체어를 무료 대여해 드립니다.

Nature Trail (120m): Wetland Center -> Rustling Reed Boardwalk -> Mujin Bridge -> Forest trail ascent up Yongsan Observatory for the panoramic S-curve sunset view.

추천 탐방 코스: 생태관 -> 무진교 건너기 -> 갈대밭 데크 산책로 -> 대대포구 갈대숲 포토존 -> 용산전망대 완만한 등산로(도보 25분)에 올라 S자 갯벌 수로의 붉은 낙조 감상.

Savor Suncheon Kkomak Jeongshik (mudflat cockle banquets featuring steamed cockles, spicy cockle salad, and cockle pancakes) and hearty boiling Jjangttung-eo Tang (bluespotted mudhopper soup).

순천만 갯벌에서 채취한 꼬막 정식(꼬막회무침, 꼬막전, 삶은 통꼬막)과 갯벌의 영양을 듬뿍 머금은 짱뚱어를 푹 고아 끓여낸 구수한 짱뚱어탕이 순천만의 대표 보양 미식입니다.

Eco-friendly restaurants near the entrance offer steamed lotus leaf herbal rice (Yeonipbap), fresh acorn jelly salad with wild herbs, and country bean paste stews.

습지 입구 식당가에서는 은은한 연잎 향이 배어 있는 연잎밥 정식과 도토리묵 무침, 지리산 자락의 신선한 산나물 밥상을 즐길 수 있어 채식 여행자들에게도 안성맞춤입니다.

Photographing the fiery orange sunset reflecting across the winding S-curve water channel from Yongsan Observatory at dusk is celebrated as one of Korea's top 10 scenic photography views.

용산전망대 정상에서 바라보는 풍경이 압권입니다. 붉게 물드는 저녁노을이 갯벌 사이를 구불구불 흐르는 S자 수로에 반사되는 순간은 사진작가들이 꼽는 대한민국 최고의 낙조 풍경입니다.

Suncheonman Bay is an ecological sanctuary. Visitors must keep to boardwalks, avoid shouting, refrain from littering, and observe strict no-smoking and no-drone prohibitions.

천연기념물 철새들의 안식처이므로 탐방로에서 큰 소리로 떠들거나 새들을 향해 돌을 던져서는 안 됩니다. 전 구역 금연이며, 철새 비행을 방해하는 드론 촬영은 법적으로 엄격히 통제됩니다.

First aid stations with AEDs operate inside the Wetland Center and Eco Museum. Saint Carollo Hospital in Suncheon is 10km north. Dial 1330 for tourist support.

습지 센터와 자연생태관에 심장충격기(AED)와 상비 구급약품을 갖춘 의무실이 운영됩니다. 응급상황 시 순천 시내 성가롤로병원 응급의료센터로 후송되며 1330 외국어 안내가 지원됩니다.

Connected attractions: Suncheon Bay National Garden (connected by SkyCube monorail 7km north), and historic Naganeupseong Walled Folk Village with living thatched cottages (15km west).
