1. What is the Climate Card?
The Seoul Climate Card is an all-inclusive public transit pass introduced by the Seoul Metropolitan Government allowing unlimited rides on subways, Seoul city/village buses, and Ttareungyi public bicycles.
2. Tourist Short-Term Passes & Pricing
International visitors can purchase physical cards at subway customer centers and convenience stores, loaded with short-term tourist passes:
- 1-Day Pass: 5,000 KRW
- 2-Day Pass: 8,000 KRW
- 3-Day Pass: 10,000 KRW
- 5-Day Pass: 15,000 KRW
- 7-Day Pass: 20,000 KRW

3. Coverage Network & Limitations
- Covered: Seoul Metro Lines 1-9, Ui-Sinseol Line, Sillim Line, Gyeongui-Jungang Line (within Seoul stations), Airport Railroad (AREX All-Stop train within Seoul Gimpo-Seoul Station section only), and all Seoul city/village buses.
- Not Covered: Sinbundang Line (red line), express intercity red commuter buses (Gwangyeok Bus), and stations outside Seoul administrative boundaries (e.g. Incheon, Suwon).
4. Official Purchase & Top-Up Locations
- Customer Service Centers inside Seoul Metro Lines 1-8 stations.
- GS25, CU, 7-Eleven, and Emart24 convenience stores near subway stations.
- Reload via automated ticket vending machines inside subway stations using KRW cash.
