Often dubbed the "Modern-Day Moses Miracle." Extreme tidal differentials reveal an ocean sandbar 2.8 km long and 40 meters wide connecting Jindo mainland with offshore Modo Island for roughly one hour. Thousands walk across the seabed collecting clams, sea cucumbers, and abalone, accompanied by Jindo dog shows and Jindo drum dances (Bukchum). Free admission.
